Format
The School will be based on structured programs of plenary lectures given by distinguished robotics professors and researchers. The venue of the SRS is not far from Pontedera and Pisa , where a number of qualified robotics research laboratories are located. This will provide an opportunity for hands-on lessons and students' projects to integrate regular lessons.
The school is based on a residential setting will favor informal interaction between the attending students and the teachers, as well as among students.
Attendance
The expected attendance of SRS is a restricted number of a maximum of 30 brilliant robotics students and young researchers. A tough selection is expected, e.g. with an acceptance ratio below 20% of applications, in order to identify excellent students with promising skills for break-through robotics research. The modalities for application and the selection criteria, as well as the registration fee, are defined by the Scientific Board.
