in robotics:
- artificial vision: acquisition and low and high level image
processing, stereo images interpretation, retinal image acquisition
and processing;
- artificial tactile perception: acquisition and processing of
tactile images and data from thermal and dynamic sensors;
- integration of visual and tactile data for object recognition;
- image interpretation for determination of spatial parameters
for planning motor actions in robotic manipulators;
- trajectory planning in redundant manipulators and control of
end effector configuration (gripper and robotic hand) in pushing
and grasping tasks;
